On January 4, 2018, Dorothy "Betty" Calderilla passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Dorothy was born July 13, 1946; she lived in Colton all her life where she met her husband, Henry in 1964. She raised three girls and 1 grandson, while also working and helping others. Dorothy is know for her accomplishments which include working for Our Lady of Guadalupe, San Salvador, Immaculate Conception and St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Churches. On January 4, 2018, Dorothy "Betty" Calderilla passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Dorothy was born July 13, 1946; she lived in Colton all her life where she met her husband, Henry in 1964. She raised three girls and 1 grandson, while also working and helping others. Dorothy is know for her accomplishments which include working for Our Lady of Guadalupe, San Salvador, Immaculate Conception and St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Churches. As well as a CCD coordinator, Ballet Folklorico President, Room Mother for McKinley School, and Colton High School Band Mom. She was also involved with Carl Rimbal Softball, Blue Birds Scouts and volunteered to help the homeless. Dorothy worked over 20 years at Target Department Store where she discovered her love as dressing up as Mrs. Clause. For 20 years she played Mrs. Clause alongside her husband, who played Mr. Clause, together they went to different communities and organizations to bring joy. She has touched many people with her kind words and beautiful soul. She was greatly loved by many and will be truly missed. Dorothy has made a big difference in many lives and will definitely be remembered. She is survived by her husband, Henry, her daughters, Tisha Garcia (Ralph), Sylvia Samaro, and Julie Calderilla-Porter (Keith). She has 8 grandchildren; Jonathan Ray, Jeremy, Nickolass, Sydney, Jorden, Noa, Ayjay and Jayda. She also has 4 great grandkids, Sophia, Sylvia, Jorden and Camden.

Memorial service for Dorothy will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2018, 10 a.m. at Montecito Valley View Chapel, 3520 E. Washington St, Colton, California 92324.
